Laid Back

How do you look put together and laid back at the same time?
It's no secret I love fashion and even on my lazy days I still like wearing something cute.
And for me at least,
I think I've found the key to achieving this.

Anniversary

60 years of marriage.
That's how long my grandparents have been married.
A diamond anniversary is blessing, achievement and a milestone.
It's something a girl my age can only imagine having.
Celebrating meant going all out with a formal lunch
with my grandparent's family and friends.

Rock and Roll

"Wearing black isn't playful and exciting"
Wrong!
There is so much you can do wearing back,
explore different textures, alternate between silhouettes and
mixing prints.

Caramel Rocky Road

I remember when my dad used to get his car washed
it was the worst experience ever.
A waste of time and boring.
The only thing that would make it bearable was
going to the cafe and getting a hot chocolate with a Rocky Road.

I love Rocky Road.
I can only imagine its conception came from
someone just mixing all the sweet ingredients they had
left in their pantry.
And what a great idea that turned out to be!

This Caramel Rocky Road is a
delicious, simple coconuty twist on the original.

Lights

 Illuminade
Amsterdam Light Festival was running during our stay in Holland.
Scattered amongst the city,
the sculptures that were both on water and land
glowed in the Amsterdam night.

Amsterdam

Before I embarked on what I dubbed my great 'European Adventure'
it was essential that we picked the perfect five countries to circulate.
Heavily influenced by The Fault in Our Stars, Amsterdam quickly became a must.
I really should write a thank you letter to John Green or something.
Like Wales, Amsterdam is so unappreciated, in my eyes at least.
