Hyde Park

It continues to surprise me when I discover these small locations that have a sort of enchanted ambiance.
I guess what amuses me more, is that they are scattered around Sydney just waiting to be explored.
I am no stranger to Hyde Park.
Actually, I’m quite envious of those who work in the city.
If it were up to me,
I would spend my lunch hour escaping to Hyde park, soaking in the sun,
relaxing with my friends or reading a good book.
When I was stomping through the empty grass field, trying to find a decent location to snap some pictures,
I came across a small amphitheatre that was more than I bargained for.

The quilted meadow print skirt, really is the feature of the outfit.
The print is subtle and the material extra thick.
Worn with a top tucked in or freely out
 (Which, by the way, let me just add.. I love both ways;
I'm quite indecisive and you can easily catch me pulling it out and tucking it back in through out the day)
And my funky lipstik ankle boots, with a tassel hanging off each of them.
The best thing about this outfit is that it can go from day to night.
On a sunny Autumn's day, I am thrilled to be wearing pieces from my Summer wardrobe.
I mean is it just me? But I just hate temporarily saying good bye to
summer dresses, playsuits, shorts and short skirts.
I personally feel like the skirt is quite simple and comfortable,
but not understated at all.
Plus the boots really add the Autumn touch!
Details, details, details!
It's always the simple touches that can tie an outfit together!
Admittedly, I can be quite lazy when it comes to doing this,
but I'm on a mission remember and start accessorising.
I hardly ever wear gold jewellery!
When ever I walk it to a jewellery boutique, I instantly direct myself to the silver stuff,
if not that, you'll find me by the white gold section.
I really don't know why I do that.
Gold's actually a really nice colour, and so I want to challenge myself to wear it more often!
OH! For the love of tassels!!
I suppose it's a love or hate thing.
You're either like me and think they're the bees knees and add spunk to the boots,
or you hate them and think they're really rather odd.
