Nice Navy

Today was another one of those beautiful sunny days that were interrupted by unwelcoming bursts of wind. And for a girl, these kinds of days are some of the most difficult to dress for. When I went to the park today, I unexpectedly found a little maze, which was quite enchanting and symmetrical on each side. So, I decided to embrace my surroundings and share todays outfit with you all.

This lace top is perfect for confusing weather, it only has a thick opaque lining at the front making it appropriate to wear out; the lace material covers the skin, whilst allowing you to stay cool because of the holes in it's pattern. What I love about it is the zipper running down the back and 3/4 length sleeves.
I really am exploring when it comes to finding new pieces for my wardrobe. If you saw me a year ago, the only skirt you would have caught me in, was my school uniform. I just hate the anxiety that comes along with them. You know, the constant anticipation of whether or not a gust of wind is going to pass by, lifting it into the air or the dreaded task of sitting and getting up properly, all which can result in some form of embarrassment. Plus, (I'm sure I've emphasised a million times) I'm a bit of a tomboy when it comes fashion.
Tying the whole 'navy look together' are my navy pair of vans. Van's go with everything and anything from dresses and skirts to jeans and shorts. They're the 'wonder shoe' and are worth every cent. Apart from being visually appealing they are practical, you can walk around them all day without worrying about getting sore feet at the end of the day.
Keeping to my theme I wore earrings, bracelets and a ring that consisted of navy and gold. I unexpectedly loved the look of the dangling triangle earrings, they're very eye catching and unusual.
