3 Ingredient Pancake • Healthy Recipe



Lately I've been inspired to find healthy recipes and alternatives to the meals and snacks that I love. So long are the days where you have to give up those unhealthy dishes that you could, if you wanted to, snack on all day and night. Now you can make these substitutes and eat them in moderation.

Now, I know that it is easy to be skeptical of 'healthy alternatives', because you never know if they are going to taste as good as the original version. Honestly, it's not going to be a replica, however it does taste very similar and almost as good.
Ingredients:
*To make the pancakes vegan use 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Milk instead of the egg
The Method:

Instead of using maple syrup or honey,  I decided to make my own topping. All I used was chocolate and peanut butter.  You can use dairy chocolate, like I did here, but I highly recommend dark chocolate, because not only is it healthier, but it evens out the strong flavour of peanut butter. Peanut butter also has high nutritional value. It contains Vitamin E (which is good for your bones),  Fibre and Protein and has monounsaturated fat (the good kinda Fat) and reduces risk to diabetes and heart diseases.
I used around 4 1cm blocks of chocolate and a table spoon of peanut butter, melting them together in the microwave and mixing them in to a liquid consistency.
Clearly I am no master chef and my presentation isn't the best, but it tasted really nice, which is an achievement I will take.
